Baldwin Denim, founded and designed by Matt Baldwin, is an American manufactured clothing and lifestyle brand. Starting out with just 3 men’s fits, running 70 units at a time, they have now evolved to making men’s and women’s shirts, pants, denim, and accessories. Every piece of clothing is cut and sewn in the USA, all while each detail is thoroughly inspected, from the wash of the denim, to the trademarked white rivet detail.

Matt Baldwin received a degree in Apparel Manufacturing from FIDM in Los Angeles, and after him and his wife worked with various brands, they decided to move back to the Midwest and get in touch with their roots. In 2003 they opened their first men’s and women’s designer boutique in Kansas City. For the last 10 years Matt and his wife have spend their days connecting with customers and learning how to provide the right products for the right people. After years of constantly looking for new brands, Matt decided it was apparent that an American-made denim brand applying modern design aesthetics to high end denim was very hard to find. Out of that need, Baldwin Denim was born. Being sold in many top specialty stores worldwide, there are also two flagships stores in Kansas City.
