Quoddy moccasins were first made hundreds of years ago by a native called Passamaquoddy of what is now Maine. In 1909, Harry Smith Shorey decided to make footwear that was constructed and inspired by the native’s hand sewn quality moccasins.
He quickly gained business from fishermen and hunters who respected the hard work and dedication that went into making the shoes. Customers treasured the comfort, durability, and feel of the shoes, and still do today.
Quoddy sells a variety of handmade and hand sewn shoes for both men and women in the historic home of Maine. If you’re looking for quality shoes, backed by centuries of American tradition, look no further than Quoddy moccasins!

May 1, 2014I lived in blue suede moccasins in my teen years. I haven’t seen moccasins this nice ever. Beautiful colors and styles, some even resemble a famous boat shoe that I wear. I might have to treat myself to a pair of these soon.
