Although many companies try to duplicate products made by Eppinger, this company is unrivaled. It still remains a top choice for all-around fishing lure, and as an added bonus Eppinger manufactures its fishing accessories right here in the USA.
The Eppinger history began in 1906 when Lou Eppinger made his own lure, while spending a month alone in the wilderness. By 1912, he made his design available to the masses, called The Osprey. Fisherman couldn’t keep fish away with this lure and it was later changed to what millions of fisherman use today, the Dardevle in 1918. The Dardevle on record has caught more fish than any other fishing lure.
Eppinger sells millions of lures every year, with more than 16,000 lures inspired by the successful Dardevle lure. As a family-owned company with deeply rooted American values, you can count on Eppinger gear for excellent quality, performance, and its support of the American economy.
